Looking for Duck Raising Information.

Hello Everyone! My husband and I are fairly new at raising Ducks. We have had our trials with them. We started out with 3 Ancona ducklings and when they were grown found we had 2 drakes and 1 hen. The drakes began to really beat up on the female so we spent time separating then and bringing them back together. We have gotten more females both Muscovy and Ancona and the drakes still seem to beat up the original hen more so than the other, however they have gone after the other Ancona hens as well. They have not shown much interest into the Muscocy hens.

Recently we decided to incubate some of our eggs. We would like more Anconas. So, in a long but short we have decided to become part of the BYC to see if we can get some advice and guidance as we continue our adventure.
