Im new to this site but its my last resort. Im looking to find some young duckling for sale. However as I'm sure most of you know, its kind of off season for buying new birds. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to finding some new ducklings to bring home or if you have your own near by. Im trying to stay away from the big bird websites that sell eggs and live ducks. As I heard a lot of bad things about these types of places.
Thank You.

I just looked on Seattle Craigslist and typed in ducks. There was at least 15 post so i am sure one of them has ducklings.

I know you said you didn't want to look at hatcheries, but there really isn't anything wrong with using a hatchery. You will be limited in your choices, but at this point in the season, if you must have them this month, that might be the only way to go. If you leave near one of them, you can pick them up. Otherwise they can ship and they know how to ship in cold weather as well.

I've ordered from Metzer Farms 2x in the past with no problems.

Where are you in WA?

I will look in to them, however I found a contact with wood ducks, so I may go down that road. Will see what happens. Im out in Enumclaw, Washington. About 45 min away from Seattle.
