Looking for Easter Hatch Buddies!!!

Ok good! I dont even know what it got down to... Our neighbor called shortly after we left home and said the power went out. And then it came back on about an hour before we got home, and by then the temps were up to 90s... I bet it was only about 65 in our house, so hopefully they didnt get that cool.


I candled last night and took out the rest of the maybe's I left in before. So now I have 12 silkie eggs due Easter weekend.

And then I have another incubator with duck eggs that I set last Sunday. There were I think 10 duds in there, so I took them out too.

I wish you luck. But I think they will probably be ok.
I read one lady on here said she huge temp swings and lets her bator go dry and really doesn't mess with it and she has good hatches!
Then you read about the others that try so hard to keep the temp and humidity just right and they have terrible hatches!
It is just a little crazy and nerve racking too!

Tomorrow is LOCKDOWN!!! So day 18 is finally here for me! I'm hoping they will hatch since we had the 104 spike. I cannot see movement when I candled. No space left to see anything. Oh please hatch and be healthy.

Thank you. I will definitely post pictures. Right now the incubator is steady at 100.4 and the humidity fluctuates between 70% to 75%. Eeek...I can't wait! Oh the suspense of it all!

I am going to go into lockdown tomorrow!!! I think my temps might have been a teeny bit high here and there so I may have some early arrivals!! I am SOOO excited!! There are 12 silkie eggs in there, 7 from one person, and 5 from another. So I need to build a barrier in there so I'll be able to tell whose are whose and can send them pics of the correct grandchickies!!!

One of my EE eggs is cheeping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can hear it pecking inside!!! I'm so excited!!!!

It doesn't have a pip in it yet, so it will probably hatch tonigh ...

I'm NEVER going to go to be able to go to sleep tonight! lol So hopefully by morning I'll have a fuzzy lil' chick waiting on me!!!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
