I second that. If anyone in PA has chicks, eggs, or even tame adults I would love to get some. I have a friend that just lost an emu and she's heartbroken. She told me if I can find her another that she would let me keep it up on her land.

The emu Egg laying season is over usually by late april.

in maine, laying season starts in oct so you might start looking again.
