    Hello,

I am desperatly looking for someone who may have a small number of hatching eggs to sell that can be sent by mail to the province of Quebec. My children want to try ''growing'' a chicken as they say. We have only hens right now. I am dealing with one lady who is able to send them by mail expresspost in one day but would like some other varities in larger breeds like Orpington or Jersey Giants. If anyone is able and willing, I will pay all reasonable costs.

    Let me know thanks.

    Carolyn

Eggs are pretty temp. sensitive (frozen eggs would be bad) so I don't think this would be a good time of year to try it that far north.

Have you tried to post a WTB add in your local online classifieds? I'm not sure if you have Craig's List in Canada or not, but I'm sure there must be something similar. You could also ask at your local feed store for anyone that has fertile eggs to sell. Good luck with your project. I don't have an incubator yet so the kids and I are anxiousley waiting for one of our hens to go broody.
