Hello. I am in the Portland Oregon area and I am looking for fertile Americauna/Araucana, Delaware or other" rare" fertile eggs to hatch. I would prefer them to be local, but please let me know wherever you may be...

Right now...me too! I have a rooster who, is not, unfortunately, doing his job and I have a broody hen that I would like to placate before she dies trying to hatch everyone elses non-fertile eggs.

HI, I am right outside of Portland.
Wish I had not let all my chickens together.grrrrrrrrrrrrr
I'll contact a couple of folks I know who may have eggs..............

I have Cooper Blue Marans, Astrolorps, 1/2 english Orpingtons, cuckoo marans.
The problem is ...I do not have the breeds seperated right now and it takes three weeks for the hen to breed true again when put with thier proper rooster.
Could supply mixed eggs.or I have eggs in the incubater right now due in two weeks.
I have given day old or new born chicks to a broody and they have always accepted them.
I am hatching (hopefully)
Silver laced Wyndottes.from New York
Easter eggers...purebred Americana rooster (Blue) .from Georgia
Blue laced red Wyndottes from Florida

I would have Delaware eggs....Mine are laying like crazy...big brown eggs....you can see them on my facebook page (Lori Davis)I am in Oklahoma. I saw a video on how to wrap so they are pretty safe. Let me know...also, check out the new Delaware club and see if you can find some closer--under breeders? It's www.delawarepoultryclub.org
