I'm in the NoVA area and would like a dozen or so fertile guinea eggs. Any color/mix is fine (I'd actually prefer a mixture to make identifying the birds easier, but all one color is fine, too).

Have you checked Ebay? They have lots of guinea eggs, all colors too. Beware of the noise lol, they never shut up. Good luck in your search! Here's my pearl guinea hen. Oh just saw that you’re in VA.
What made you want guineas? I have 6 males, I’m hoping to have some females out of then ones I hatch.
Most companies don’t sell keets or hatching eggs til June.
Sounds good! Good luck with them! Make sure to coop train them so they stay out of those trees, lol. The neighbor had some roost on his 15 ft. high barn in a blizzard once. -20 degrees and 40+ mile per hour winds. He tried to get them down, but said he didn't want to die trying to save the guineas. Side note : they are honestly the dumbest birds ever. I love mine, she's so funny, but she is so stupid. Sometimes I wonder if her brain is in fact stored in the tiny casque on her head, lol. Anyway, they sat up there all night long. Amazingly, he only lost one from the bitter cold. What a beautiful bird!
Last spring I moved to a house on 5 acres, 4.5 of which are forested. One of the things we noticed RIGHT AWAY was that there is a terrible tick problem here. I've had coturnix quail for a long time and thought that this has to be something poultry would be good for (rather than using pesticides.) But when looking up about what birds would be a good, natural defense for ticks in my type of area, guineas came up A LOT. So considering my location and after doing lots of research (and questioning of friends), guineas seem like the ideal solution.
Thank you for the link, btw! I'll be looking in to them.![]()

That's amazing about only the one loss! But, yes, I'm HOPING O'm successful in training them to go inside at night. I'm skeptical, however, about your claim that they are the "dumbest" birds. I'm pretty sure coturnix quail are. (Obviously, I only want reaaly dumb fowl.Sounds good! Good luck with them! Make sure to coop train them so they stay out of those trees, lol. Lol! I've never had coturnix, probably for the best! My Bobs are pretty smart for quail IMO. Good luck! Guineas might be the second dumbest. Lol! I'd have to see it to believe it though! That's amazing about only the one loss! But, yes, I'm HOPING O'm successful in training them to go inside at night. Why so late to start selling the eggs? I think I might have to take a chance on an ebay seller as I am wanting to move things along now (as opposed to having them not be ready to go outside until fall.) Though, maybe I'll order more from your link later. (So thank you!)
Do all your males get along?
