Hello. I purchased 3 khaki Campbell ducks who let me tell you are hilarious. Just typing this breaks my heart. We live on 1 acre of land which I thought was plenty. Goal in the next 2 years to purchase a home with much more and much more secluded. Turns out you need two acres to own ducks. My ducks are literally never left unattended when they are in their pen we are always out there. Doesnt seem to matter bc the township has been in contact with us. I'm looking for a farm or someone with enough land to take my babies. They are so loveable and attached they CAN NOT be on their own. Please please if anyone can help or point me in the right direction. I also know how stupid it was for me not to do my research on the land requirements I torture myseld everytime I look at my babies. I dknt know what else to do.

It would be helpful if you had your location under your avatar picture. Simple to do and really helps people help you. Just go to the top right where your "BYC name" is and click. A drop-down menu will take you to "Account Details". If you put your location there it will always be under your picture.

Adding your location will be helpful. I am so sorry. My heart breaks for you. Wishing you luck in finding them a new home where they'll be shown love and be cared for like you have.

Thank you so much ill do that now.

Wow, that is outrageous! One acre should be more than enough for three ducks. I'm so sorry! I hope you find a good solution. Can't believe you've been contacted by the local gov. - despicable.

I've been wanting to get ducks for a while but Clearwater doesn't allow poultry... I'm really hoping that they will change that especially with covid-19 it's harder to get some foods, and some of the larger companies are having problems with things. Also, lots of people are buying and selling at this time so maybe you could now? You could tell them that you're planing on moving whinin the next few months and you could keep them there until you move? I really hope you get to keep them, but if not I know they'll go to a great home
