Looking for hens in Vermont that are broody (silkies, buff, ect...)

I am looking for a few hens that are broody, I am trying to make my flock larger but want to do it the old fashion way... I don't mind what breed as long as she goes broody often.

Like yorkshire coop said, silkies are possibly the best breed to get if you are wanting broody hens. They are constantly sitting and make EXCELLENT mothers. The roosters have even been known to stick around and help raise the chicks.
