I live in western Michigan and have lived my little group of hens. I purchased a little cottage and am looking for ideas for building a small coop and run with livestock panels so I can spend more time ‘up north’ and not worry about the care I’m paying for my ladies back home {Not to mention the expense).
So. 8 birds, summer only, need to have a safe yard (too many critters for free ranging); will transport them back & forth a couple of times during warm weather.

. Whatever you end up building basically has to be a regular, honest to goodness coop and run, just like you probably have at home. The same size requirements would be needed, and critter proofing would be necessary. I'm guessing that you probably just want to spend less money on this one and have it be easy to build. Some of the easier builds are hoop coops. Here is mine:
