We are looking to rebuild our flock and want some laying hens.. These are pet chickens and we do gather their eggs.. Let me know if you have any and what breeds.. We like to have a mix.

Thanks

I have 2 black copper marans pullets & 1 cuckoo marans pullet available. These are my culls that I got from the "official" wade jeane line in georgia. They are about 18 weeks old. The bcms are not up to standard on color/form from my perspective but should lay nice dark eggs. The cuckoo marans pullet is very pretty but I have two and only want one. These birds cost me $10 each as straight run 1 day old chicks but I am happy to sell them for $5 each. I live in Clinton Jersey which should be an easy ride from you. I have some really nice bcm cockerals the same age that are available from the same batch. You would have your pick of 10. Same price. I also have some 1 year old hens that I might be willing to part with that are already laying -1 wheaten marans, 1 blue ameraucana, 1 easter egger. Finally, I might have a limited number of 1 day old ameraucana chicks in about 10 days. It all depends on how my hatch does. These are from 3 top lines for egg color and would run about $8-10 each for straight run 1 day old chicks. The eggs cost me that much each. They are from Peachick, Azriel and another breeder who won the egg color championship in the national meet this year...

Thank you for responding, we actually found a flock of hens locally.. They are barred rock bantams, now we are looking for a rooster for the girls:)

The hens we got are bantam, so I think we need a smaller roo.. Thanks for letting me know.

We are in NJ about an hour from Allentown off rt 287.

Have some young silkie hens & roos for sale.
The silkies are all under a year old. Mostly partridge colors but some others. Very sweet birds. My 14 year old raises & shows them, they are very spoiled! Prices range from $15 - $25 for the hens (depending on show/pet quality) & $10 - $15 for the roos.
Please contact me if you are interested.

Thank you.

Are you looking for a rooster? We have one that we'd like to place if anyone is looking. He's a good rooster but we have another and not enough hens for two roosters.
