Check your craiglist under chickens free. Many people get tired of their chickens and are reluctant to cut off heads. or other reasons. Some will offer them for a price but only to thin the herd coming for free stuff. I gave things away for free on craigs but listed it with a price on it to get serious people responding.
 
We have a Blue Silky Hen “Holly” (DOH 10/7/13) and a Black/Blue Roo “Love” (DOH 7/28/14) that we need to rehome, as we need to thin out the feathered family. Holly & Love hatched indoors in our incubator and have been 100% indoor pets the whole time. Holly is laying eggs regularly. Holly & Love's new home must be pet chicken minded for my wife to let them go. These chickens have gotten the best of care, on Purina food, cooked corn mixed with Zupreem Baby Bird Hand Weaning food for best of nutrition. We live in Spotsy.
 
MrsGreen, We want to keep Holly & Love together. They are wonderful pets and well loved.

I need to add, their food is Purina Layina and Purina Flockraiser for chickens. They also eat Zupreem Embrace Baby Bird Food with corn and organic carrots. They are very healthy. We want them to go to a home where they will be well cared for.
