Looking for marans pullets, at least 4 months old

Does anyone know where I can buy or order marans hens. I'd rather not raise chicks again as I just merged my flocks, but if I have to, I will. Any help would be great, thank you!

Your asking about Marans but remember there are many kinds of marans, so what kind of marans are you looking for? Shipping four month old pullets would cost you an arm and a leg. Thats why most buy day old's. Paraclete 2

Pullets are hard to find and expensive. Do a search on craigslist. There was a guy in Brooksville with two breeding pairs of Black Copper Marans for $75 per pair. They're about 5 months old. He also has some chicks that just hatched. The pullets aren't laying yet, but should be in another month or two. I got three pullets and one cockerel from the same guy. Very nice birds.

When I sell pullets or hens for laying flock homes, I charge $50/bird, minimum. $100 if it is a spectacular, great looking bird with excellent coppering on the neck, good comb, feet reathers good, right eye color. I almost never sell that kind though... don't have enough of them myself.

There's someone in Zephyrhills selling a rooster and two hens on craigslist. All blue birchens and 1 - 1 1/2 years old. Currently laying.
