Looking for meat chicken tractor for 30 chickens. Anyone ever purchase from the Chicken Ranger?

Looking to purchase meat chicken tractor from the chicken Ranger. Anyone have one? Reviews?

You're probably better off building your own than trying to pay shipping for something like this. Unless you find someone locally. But making something like the one pictured wouldn't be that difficult or expensive. It is made from materials that can be purchased cheaply (you could probably sub the metal for PVC - I've seen people do that before).

There are many, many build plans on Youtube and online in general. Many are variations of Joel Salatin's model, so just try searching "salatin-style chicken tractor" and you'll get a ton of results. Best of luck.

Edit: One more piece of advice I thought of... you may want to build one that is a bit more Salatin-style (opens at the top, or both top and sides) than the one pictured. The one I made opens at the side and when it's time to catch a chicken on processing day, they all run to the corner and I have to crouch down and crawl in there to get them. It sucks. I know some people put the birds in small crates the night before processing day, which makes this a non-issue, but it's something to consider when planning your project.
