Chicks are 5 weeks, almost 6 weeks old. No specific breeds (barnyard mixes)

Chick #1, Firefly- Cockerel (silkie Cochin X olive egger)

Chick #5, Button- Pullet (Green Queen X Cochin LF mix)

Chick #6, unnamed- Pullet (Green Queen X possibly OEGB since she's so small and she is clean legged so I doubt the father is one of our silkie Cochins)

Chick #7, Fern- Pullet? (Blue birchen Marans x Cochin LF mix)

*Ones with question marks are ones I'm on the fence about

Also got any name ideas for the two unnamed ones?

ETA: Our silkie Cochins are bantams!

Love the name ideas!
Chick #2, Frog- Cockerel?? (silkie Cochin X Green Queen)
This one actually looks like a pullet. I can see where you got the Frog idea from, lol. 😅

Fern (7) looks like a pullet and unnamed (8) looks like a pullet also. Can you take some more pictures of #8? Full body and comb.

Adorable! Do you want the names to fit any particular theme for the unnamed two?
I don't really have a theme, any names are fine!

Thank you! Yes I have some but they are a bit blurry. I'll try to get better ones after school. I'll send them anyways though

As I said, I'll get better pictures later, but here are the ones I currently have

You're good! They are mixes between the two breeds. Unfortunately not silkie-feathered.

Ah, okay! Thank you for answering! I have a few Silkie-Cochin mixes as well, and they're the broodiest little stinkers in my flock! 🤣

As for your chicks, I do agree that Frog could go either way at this point. Peanut's comb is rather large, so I'm not sure I'd say pullet for sure yet on that one. Your little unnamed one that you just posted more pictures of does look like a cockerel to me. They're a bit young for me to be 100% sure on any of them except Firefly, though--he's beyond a doubt a boy with that comb at this age! Side shots help a lot with sexing as sometimes you can tell just by the pattern they're feathering in with, though.

Good luck with deciding on names! Sometimes that's the hardest part of raising up chicks for me. 🤣

Yeah I'll try to get side view pictures, they are little bundles of energy! I was guessing pullet for Peanut because I thought she has a female-specific pattern (I have an above view picture that I'll post in a minute). #6 also has a more female pattern (SF hen looking pattern, though it is splotchy). Ours are roosters, but we have a silkie mix who went broody before she even laid her first egg! And our satin silkie and frizzle are always broody lol.
