Looking for others who set eggs 6-13-15 to join me

I forgot what day I set and I'm too lazy to look. lol BUT... today is day 18, so it was somewhere around there. Going into lockdown tonight! 9 Barnevelders and 3 Olive Eggers.

We did our final turn and our incubator is now in lock down. So nervous since our last failed attempt. 12 chicks in lock down. Hopefully this is okay. We put window screen down on top of our 1/4" hardware cloth. Most of our eggs are Seramas and we were worried those tiny feet would fall right through. Just hope the screen doesn't affect the temperature. My daughter is already playing cheeping videos to encourage their hatch. I know they say you can leave the chicks in the incubator for a while. How often do you take out the babies? Am I really supposed to wait till they all hatch? Wouldn't want to shrink wrap the ones still hatching but don't want it to be harmful to the ones already out and fluffy.

Yes! Some more hatch-a-longs. Welcome. It won't be long now. Keep me updated on your hatch. I hope to have pictures of some healthy chicks soon. 10 Seramas and 2 Silkies due to hatch on the 4th of July.

So excited! We've got two eggs that have external pips. Can hear soft peeping. Don't think my daughter will sleep tonight. She already skipped cheerleading to stay home and stare at the eggs. Wish we had put a bigger window in the incubator.

Sorry to chime in at the end, but I have some button quail hatching on the 4th! I have never hatched them before... I can't even candle them at all so I have no idea how they are doing.

Exciting that you have some pips!! That is excellent news!

Hi Darkbluespace, Never too late to join in. Not much change in the eggs. One little piece of shell fell off of one and the other now has a crack about 3/16" long. My daughter so desperately wants to see one hatch. She wants to stay up all night.

Chiques Chicks, What are you hatching? I see you are from Lancaster County, PA. Where do you live? I am from Leesport, PA near Reading. I used to work in Akron, PA. It was a nice place to work.

I hope they hurry up for her... or wait till tomorrow! It is very exciting!!

I have some serama eggs that look like they might hatch this weekend too. They were under 3 broody hens and after some chicks hatched they started playing foot ball with the rest! I put them in the bator upright because the air cells got messed up a bit. I think the are from my frizzle hen and mottled tri-color roo so I am curious to see what they look like!
