Looking for People on the Eastern Shore....

Hi and welcome,
I'm in Salisbury, Md. My birds aren't here yet. I should see them this weekend I have no clue what breed they are, my daughter is bringing them down from a pig farmer in NJ.
Its a scarry thought kind of, The last time he gave her 2 birds they were both roosters.

Wow, thank you all... It is great to meet you all. My mom grew up in Cecil County...by Chesapeake City...the big horse farm just south on 213(I think) was my grandparents' dairy farm
 
Miss Prissy, that incubator is GREAT...wish I would've seen it before I spent $200 today buying a hatcher and incubator

what heritage breeds are you getting into? I have three delaware pullets and I know some one with a few buckeyes here in Maryland.

Hey Henry,

I will be using chicken tractors, too. We used to have a HEAVY one that we built out of locust. I am going to try a pvc fram this time. What is your made out of?
 
mine is made of cedar and hardware cloth and I use plastic fencing as a run it is working great so far.
