Looking for people who've used chickensitters (paid or unpaid)

pet sitters would you mind posting what you charge,so we can get an idea of what is reasonable,,,thanks

I live in Kansas City and charge 10.00 a trip out. For the horse people who want their horses fed twice a day it is 20.00 dollars a day. That includes anything they need.(Stalls, barn cats, steers fed, water). I never charge more than 20.00 dollars a day. That also goes for the poultry people who need their barns locked at night and opened in the morning. I also never charge more than 100.00 dollars a week. It's a lot of fun and I enjoy it so much.

My sister is the only one I trust to do it. One year I had my SIL do it since my sis was very pregnant.....came home to no food and no water......I was NOT a happy camper.

$15.00 standard call 1 to 2 pets : dogs/cats
same for budgies, they are actually more work with cage cleaning etc. my average client has 2 cats or dog and cat and budgie, I still charge $15 for the 3 in that case.
However if they have a huge garden with lots of plants that take 1/2 hour to water i will up the price to $20.
I go and meet them to give a quote.
If they live out of my immediate area i also up the charge to $18 standard 1/2 pets.
Farms that take 1/2 hour to drive to cost $30 nad they are very hands on so i should charge more sometimes.
Try looking up the petsitting association over there too they will have some costs.
APSA i think.
Really it just depends on the time involved to care properly for the animals. Chooks are $15 per visit too.
