I think I previously posted this in the wrong forum, so sorry for the double post.

One of my hens decided she wanted to go broodie, so I put 4 eggs under her and let her hatch them. The chicks are getting feathers now and starting into that ugly duckling stage. Three of the chicks look very similar, but one chick has feathers coming in that are light lemon coloured with light greyish/lavendar barring on the wing (so far just one bar). The chick was yellow at hatching with a light greyish/lavendar spot on it's head. I have never seen another chicken with this colouring and was wondering if anyone else had a mature chicken this colour that they could post photos of.

My roosters are EEs and the hens that these eggs came from were Silver-laced Wyandotte, Buff Orpington, and a pure white EE hen. The white EE hen was hatched out from another clutch last year and I thought it was odd because I do not have any white chickens, but I know nothing of poultry genetics, so maybe it's not that odd of a happening.

Here are 2 photos just after hatching. I keep forgetting to take a photo of "it" now with feathers coming in, but will try and remember to this evening and post them tomorrow.
