Check out my BYC page. I just took over an old building. Used the first 9 feet as nesting area with a deck floor. The rest is original dirt floor, with wire walls that have removable snow boards for winter. Works GREAT!

We have a lean-to attached to our coop which is 12 x 24 with the attached run being 26 x 24. Welded wire to keep out predators and chain link dog kennel panels all around. Quite ugly but it is very safe.

thats the setup im looking for like yours that style. but i want it to be metal slant roof on top and sides closed in in winter to keep snow out basically want a closed in run for winter time . that and have a grow out area for new birds.

OK, here's the scoop.

There is now sand in the bottom

The hospital cage is moved to the floor and the rabbits can come and go from it- it is also properly covered

I now hove better perches

the bird bath is on the floor due to tip hazzard

The doves/pigeons have moved out

Oh and everything is locked

We get a LOT of snow here ... my covered run is 8' x 24'.

I don't have a good photo from outside the coop showing winter snow conditions, but you get the picture:

Im so jealous of all these photos I keep seeing with the huge tree stands in the background! Even ugly coops look awesome against that background! (none of these...but boy did you see some in that ugly coop contest?!?) I and trying to figure out the same thing but I dont have snow, I have rain and high wind so Im not sure what to put that wont blow away.
