Looking for point of lay pullets or young hens..Central Oklahoma

I am in Midwest City, OK. Since I am just starting out with chickens, I am looking for point of lay pullets or young hens and a rooster. I don't have the means for young chicks just yet.
I would prefer Australorpsfor their tame temperment but am open to other suggestions.

You should try some of the local poultry auctions there are quite a few not far from you.
