Back when my oldest ( now 30) was in middle school the Home Ec teacher gave them a recipe for Pretzels
I have long since lost that particular recipe and can not find one as good as that one.

It was a versiltie dough and could go from pretzel to bread with little fuss.
If anyone has such a recipe could you please post them?

This is the one I use. Its from my bread machine recipe book.
7 oz water
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
1 beaten egg
Makes 6
Let rise until they are the size you want. Bake 12 minutes at 450.

Hope this is what you are looking for!

its very very close , but I want to think there was a rye flour or something like that included, I am not sure.
but I will make this pretzel and see how close it is.
thank you so much.
