Looking for Red Dorkings

I bought some Red Dorkings from Eagle Nest Poultry in Osceola, Ohio. They are part of their exhibition quality line. They will ship. Here is one of the male Red Dorkings at 6 months old.

So after looking their website didn't list any dorkings, when did you get them?
You have to call. Website isn’t very detailed! I got the one in pic last July, have 3 more I hope to pick up next week. They weren’t sure if fertility would be very high for this coming hatch, but I need Feb chicks, so they are ordered. The other “secret” Breed they have is Black Jersey Giant, if you are interested. Huge...the 22week old BJG we butchered for christmas dinner was nearly 10 lbs!! And, even better, they conform well to APA standards. They will send you a catalogue, but it B&W, text only. 2020 Cost for straight run RD or BJG $2.25 each. There is shipping and a $5.00 small lot fee if under 100 chicks. They have been in Business for 99 years (according to catalogue).

I tried to get some from Eagle's Nest this year, but they are slammed and didn't have any hatching eggs available. I may try again next year. I found Red Dorking eggs in Mariposa, California and I will be picking some up on Friday. If that's close enough its Mariposa Farm House and Nancy Main is the contact.

Yup, I called earlier this week. Dorking all sold for the year, but they stop hatching them in June or July. I asked about meat chickens and they said phone ringing off the hook. I placed an order for later May pickup.
