I'm looking for some breed of silkie, possibly a cochin, or polish (and I'm open to any adult bird if it is really, really nice) that actually are show quality with a chance of winning; I'm hoping for chicks/junveniles, but I would be happy with an older bird.
It will definitely be shown in 4-H and the FFA but would like to show in APA. I'm only interested in buying one bird if adult or multiple (up to 25) if chicks or junveniles (to up my chances of finding a show quality one). I'm not buying roosters, but will go for a straight run if they are too young to tell.
I've worked with my family's chickens and club's chickens, but these will be my own personal chickens, so they will get tons of love and attention.
Please let me know if anyone is around to sell some to me; I'm even willing to order through shipping. Also, please do not say go to a local chicken show, since there aren't any coming up.
