Looking for some asssistance

Hi, I'm Deb from Kansas. I really hate to join up just to ask a favor but I really had planned to join soon anyway.
Someone from BYH suggested I try BYC also. We're trying to find transportation to adopt a rescue Great Pyrenees from his foster home in Austin TX. We live in Lawrence KS and are not able to make the trip any time in the next few months. Currently we have goats. We plan to have chickens next spring. Our favorite critters are our grandkids. This dog is good with all three.
If anyone is willing or even knows of someone RELIABLE and willing to transport even part of the way, please let me know.
Thanks....and I'm looking forward to learning more about having chickens before we get them instead of after...which is how we seem to be learning about goats.

Are you working with the national Pyr rescue or another rescue?
You might also contact rescues in the general area (Petfinders is a good place to find them by state) and see if any of them are doing a transport run that could take her along. https://www.petfinder.com/animal-shelters-and-rescues/search/?location=OH&shelter_name=&bystate=1
