Or check out the different Marans threads and look for someone near you,,,, not sure what quality you are looking for or how much you are willing to spend, but I advise you to avoid buying from ebay.... frankly if you can, avoid shipping long distance, especially this time of the year with the cold temps around the country.
One problem you may run into is lack of eggs this time of the year since many hens tend to stop laying in the beginning of winter.
I will add that there is a very reputable breeder that I am familiar with from the marans thread that is from Michigan I believe...... her user name is; Wynette, you can also search BYC for her profile and find a link to her web page. Her stock is worth the initial investment,,,,, good egg color and nice, purebred birds.
