I have been raising chickens for quite some time now, and would like to get into showing them. I am looking for two breeding trios of Show Quality Barred Rocks. I would prefer them not be related.
Here are a few questions;
What kind of feed do I need to feed show birds?
Do you register chickens?
How much does a good quality show chicken usually cost?
Can you guys point me in the right direction for finding good BR chickens?
Any of you guys in Oklahoma know of any good shows?
What are the breed standards for Barred Rocks? (I plan on getting APA Breed Standards book soon)
I'm sure I will think of more, soon! But this will get me started!
