Looking for some polish color possibilities with these crosses

When you describe white lace silver do you mean like this:

Yes, I would expect a white laced silver to look about like that. One gene turns the gold to silver (white), and another gene turns the black lacing to white (but can let bits of black show through.)

(But any other white-on-white patterned chicken could look similar, so I cannot tell by looking whether that one actually has the genes for lacing or not.)

That’s awesome thanks for getting back to me. I don’t have any polish hens, but I do have a black (with gold neck feathers) silkie, white silkie, and a splash silkie, along with a bunch of barnyard mix that I am getting chicks from this year.

The one silkie X chick from the black hen reminds me of a baby robin. Hopefully it’s a pullet as I am getting rather fond of her!

Hi, I know this thread is old but I was hoping someone could help me figure out what my chicks may look like! I have a White Crested Blue polish rooster who mated a Gold Laced Hen (bearded) and my chicks are due to hatch tomorrow but I am dying to find out what they may look like! Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

When the chicks hatch, I would expect half of them to look like White Crested Blue Polish chicks, and the other half to look like White Crested Black Polish chicks. When they grow up, they will probably have some leakage of gold or red or maybe white in places, rather than looking like good quality Black or Blue Polish with white crests.

If the mother is bearded and the father is not, I would expect at least some chicks to have beards. They may all have beards, or they may be about evenly split between bearded and non-bearded birds.

Thank you so much! They’re starting to hatch now!! I currently have four out of their shells it looks like I may have some Black for sure and maybe blue as well
