Thank you! I was looking at those, I just didn't know how good they are, or if anyone on here has ordered from them. I also saw that purely poltry has some. Does anyone have any experience with them?Well, Ideal has some, and their silkies aren't too bad
Hatchery birds are usually not the best. If you want show quality definitely buy from a breeder! Hackle Haven looks to have some really nice silkies.Thank you! They aren’t bad they just tend to focus on quantity over quality, so they don’t really breed their birds toward the SOP (Standard of Perfection) of the breed like breeders do. Breeders are trying to improve the breed. In my opinion most hatcheries are just trying to make money, they don’t care about improving lines. But if you just want silkies as pets hatcheries are a good option. If you want show quality definitely get from a breeder.Thank you! Why are Hatcher birds bad?
