Looking for Standard Cochins

We live in Gadsden, AL, and are getting another batch of chicks from a private breeder to replenish our flock. And we are really looking for a Standard Cochin as a pet. I have heard that they are very friendly and loving, and I have been wanting one for quite some time, and as we are replenishing our flock, this would be a perfect time. We are looking for a private party, and not a hatchery unless they allow small orders with free shipping.

Even if you don't breed them, if you could just give me some recommendations on some breeders around me if you know any, I would greatly appreciate it.

You could order them off a hatchery and have them ship it to you. I recommend Hoovers Hatchery because they sell pullets, not just chicks.

But the minimum is 15 chicks and if they are pullets we want them to be socialized and friendly.
