Looking for young laying hens in phoenix Arizona area

Trying to enlarging my chicken stock, I currently have five hens and one rooster. Would like to add three more laying hens, but I’m having a hard time finding any local hens for sale in the north Phoenix area. Any help would be appreciated.. primary purpose is eggs.

Did you look on Craigslist? If you're not particular in what breed you get, you should be able to find some chickens nearby.

If you have Tractor Supply or other stores like it, they may have swap boards or know of people who have birds for sale.

I have looked on Craigslist but very limited in listings and very expensive. I did have a source but she recently downsized. I will keep looking. Thanks
