Looking to add flair to a flock of Reds

Hey Y'all...

I've got 6 Rhode Island reds, and they're great for laying - more than we can eat anyway. I'd like to add some flair to the flock - something with color/personality, etc... and I'd like to help out with the "critical" conservation breeds if at all possible... eggs are surely not the main factor here -

BUT, i'm looking for something that will fit in with the Reds, and not cause too much trouble (after the pecking order is re-established).... Is there a breed better suited for them or not??

right now, I'm looking at the Holands, Sumatrans and the Russian Orloff - but any breed that is compatible, really... I'm not sure if the Sumatran's flair will get pecked out, etc... Also, i'm only looking to add 4 more at most. The six give me MORE than enough manure to work the garden with.....

Any advice is appreciated.

I like our heritage delawares. They are friendly and non drama and awesome! We have some that SpeckledHen on BYC has worked with for years. And also on our website page which should be able to access through our signature line below.

Our only bird mellower than the delawares is our silkies!
