We are looking to adopt (or buy if reasonably priced) a LGD pup or young adult. We would like a male, but that is not set in stone.
We have been heartbroken over the tragic loss of our LGD of 7 years. He took the Ham bone from our Easter dinner off the counter.(unbeknownst to us - he has never done that before). It splintered and ruptured his intestine. When we saw him in the morning we rushed him to the vet, but he died on the way there.

Rip Clyde. What it meant to lose you few will ever know
We know there will never be another Clyde, but would love to give another dog a loving caring home in his honor and because we love LGD's. We also would like another LGD because we live in the Angeles National Forest in Lake Hughes, CA on 8 acres and realize what a great protector Clyde was. While he was on duty we never lost a chicken. Since he passed we have lost 3.
We keep our chickens in a large enclosure with a coop, but that is not enough sometimes.
If anyone knows of a Anatolian/Great Pyrenees cross, pure Anatolian or pure Pyrenees, or similar large LGD pup or young adult that needs to be re-homed or is for sale at a very reasonable price, PLEASE let us know. We would be forever grateful and would provide them with a wonderful loving and caring home. (661) 724-0740 Ask for Leslie
Thank you for your time and help in advance!
