Looking to buy Black Copper Maran roosters

Looking for at least two black copper maran roosters from good blood lines.
Willing to buy for shipping or travel a little ways from Panama City FL Area.

I’m also from PC! I’m new to the forum and just got my first flock. 6 birds. Red Star, Speckled Sussex and Australorp. I really wanted Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, but read they were noisy? Was bummed! Your thoughts on that?

Keep in touch, I am getting ready to put eggs under 2 broody (if they stick). I will be placing fertile Blue Copper Marans eggs under them. Sometimes you get a throw back black and I cannot keep roosters. The eggs are coming from a guy I have dealt with forever, if you want to get some info on him and his flocks of Marans go to Cypress Duck Farms on the net, his name is Dan Barger and is very caring and honest. We have gotten both hatching eggs and young birds from him and never been disappointed.

I have 2 Blue laced red wyandotte and 2 splash wyandotte. In about 10 years of chicken keeping I don't find them any noisier than any other chicken breed I have kept.

I actually got mine from a lady on BYC who lived about an hour from my house. Ask around, depending on how far you are willing to drive you may be able to find some close to home. Try asking on your state thread every 3 or 4 days.
