I am looking for land now in Nevada and wondering what kind of livestock can be raised there. It will most likely be in NE Nevada. I know there is a thread for people who live in Nevada, but it has more than 1,700 posts. Has anyone thought of opening up a subforum for people from each state? It would be easier to find things.
But I really enjoy what I have read here. Hope to learn more!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

I'm sure you can have chickens in Nevada! If you are looking for ordinances for your specific location, contact local officials for the correct answer on what you can and cannot have in your specific area. For example, I live in Apalachin NY. I live on 1.25 acres and can have a rooster. Just 1/2 mile down the road, you cannot have a rooster as the zoning is different. You really need to know your zoning laws.

Good luck! :)
