I am glad for the resources I have found here and excited to chat with you all. Any advice on where to find day old chicks in the Pittsburgh area? I am in the North Hills.

Im about to move back home to pittsburgh and was also looking to raise quail. I was wondering if you know if you need any permits? and what county you're in?

I am in Allegheny County, Ross Township. I don't think any permits are required where I live. I poured over the twp ordinances and found no reference to either chickens or quail. I hope that helps!
