Hi there - I am in the unfortunate situation of needing to rehome not one, but 2 roosters out of a flock of 8 that were all supposed to be hens.
I have a Blue Australorp and Speckled Sussex rooster that I would like to find new homes for. I am allowed to have hens on my property, but not roosters and my neighbors have complained about crowing and my more dominant rooster (Australorp) is becoming more territorial with the other rooster and hens as of late, I am worried about safety and do not have the space or set up to accommodate this situation. They are both 4 months old and I have raised them since they were a day old, photos attached.
Please reach out if you are interested (even in just one of them vs. both, they don’t need to be a package deal.) They have been well raised and handled, and are clean, healthy, and handsome boys that both interact well with me. I am so bummed that this is not going to work out, but I'd rather rehome them proactively now than have them taken away or to lose one to fighting.
