Hi. The last of my original flock -- Pecky -- died yesterday. I am left with one chicken -- Goldie -- who I adopted last year. Goldie and Pecky lived happily together for a year, but now that Pecky has died, Goldie is distressed all by herself. I could adopt another chicken to keep her company, but since I didn't raise Goldie, she doesn't feel as attached to me and may be happier in a larger flock. She is a Rhode Island Red, about 3 years old, strong, healthy, friendly and lays every day. She would be a great addition to any flock. Thank you.

Hi there,
Are you still looking for a new home for this hen? I'd love to add her to my flock. I have 5 hens currently and a very nice set-up.
I'm in Orange county Virginia. Would you be able to meet me somewhere?
Thanks!
Amy
