It's a Buff Rock named "Werthers"...... Can't wait to see what she looks like as an adult! Does anyone else have one?

Mrs. Fluffy Puffy :

Does it have a Single comb? Or a Rose comb?

I was just going to ask this same thing!
Plymouth Rocks have single combs, correct?
It doesn't look like a single comb to me.
sure is a cutie

Yes, Plymouh Rocks have single combs. Dominiques have rose combs.
Hers is either rose or pea. And she sure is a cutie!

Thanks! She has a single comb and I got her from Ideal. I had never heard of a Buff Rock so I thought I would get one. She should look like a BO hen as an adult...can't wait to see!

I must have the sister to your pullet! My buff rock is cute as can be, and identical to yours. I can't quite say that the comb is a single comb though, because I have Buff Orps (same age) that have VERY apparent single combs, while the rock has more of a rose comb shape to it. It's broader on top of the beak, and has not nearly as much height. I'm interested to see how it will turn out as she gets older.

I recently got 2 BO's, 1 Buff Rock, and a New Hampshire Red. They are about 3 weeks old right now. They all look the same. I know the NH is supposed to be orange later but I can't tell right now. I hope I can tell the BO and the Buff Rock apart later!
