Hi Debby. We adopted our Opie in December of 2016 so Spuds would have a buddy. It took 24 hours of chasing each other and they became friends.

Good morning Debby! Yes, most chickens are better suited to cold weather than hot. Give them a place to shelter and they snuggle right in.

Hi Rene! I grumbled a bit to myself but I got out at the crack of dawn and took care of business like I always do lol! Of course it was especially messy in the coop! Poop everywhere! Might as well laugh about that too!

I have my permanent lights changed to Christmas and all of my decorations up here. Now to feel up to decorating my tree. Not very big but I want to feel ..the fun.

My tree is up and now that I'm back home I can finally decorate for Christmas! Now I just need to find the energy...lol
