I have only noticed this with one hen. She stands like she is getting ready to lay an egg. She did lay one earlier. And she.....(trying to think of a good descriptive word)......(not happening)......it looks like she is maybe clearing out her vent. Nothing is coming out, except for her membrane. Then that's it. Back to normal.
