Hey Jenny-same here-we have 5 rats! I don't agree with the drowning thing AT ALL! that's cruel-they're one of God's creations and trying to provide for their families. Kill them quickly and don't make a game out of it! You people are quite honestly mean!

Honestly the most successful thing we did for rodent prevention was to keep all feed stuff in an old chest freezer instead of out in the open - no feed no rodents...​

Sorry folks, I had to dispatch her. I had to know if it was a bore or a female. I flooded the den she was in about a month ago and I do believe she was the only one left as she was the only one that came out of the den. She was using an abandoned ground hog den.

I plan on flooding the den once more. I do not use poison around my chooks. I have not seen any more, but the trap has been reset.

I have mice in the horse barn, but they are field mice and they will leave in the spring. There is nothing for them to eat.
