Loooking for Turkeys ---Ducks --- and Pheasants

Ok I'm Not Sure where to post this ( so if not in the right spot Please more it ), but this is my wish / get list for this coming year of 2010 .

I looking into expanding my farm stock , I looking into getting or Purchasing a pair and some trio of the following and was wondering if any one local in or around Berkley / Tauton Ma. area or even RI area , and maybe a little bit farer , that has any new hatchling birds or young Juvenile birds on the following list for sale :
I'm looking to add the following Game Birds to my Mini Farm .


LADY AMHERST PHEASANT
Red Golden Pheasant
YELLOW GOLDEN PHEASANT
SILVER PHEASANT
Reeves Pheasant
Blue Ringneck Pheasants

Mandarin duck
Wood Duck
BLACK EAST INDIES DUCKS
RUDDY SHELDUCK
White Mandarin duck

Solid Blue Slate Turkeys
Sweetgrass Turkeys


Texas Blue Scale Quail
Gambel Quail
Chukar Partridge
Narragansett Turkey

Have you gone to through the treads of the catagories for all the species you listed like Turkeys, Ducks, etc.. or done a search in the BYC Search box. I know of people that all together have pretty much everything on your list, but it's late and I can't remember them off the top of my head right now. Maybe try Porters Rare Heritage Turkeys to get the turkey breeds you are wanting, I believe they are the ones that made the Sweetgrass and I've email Keven several times and he sounds like a good guy and knows his turkeys.

Yes Tony I remember talking to you early about ur' pheasants and telling you about taking a road trip to ur' place and checking out ur' set-up which you said would be OK .
I will be hitting you up on that I know you have a lot of pheasants which you told me .I'm not saying I would be getting all from the list but maybe I would , I have about 4 pens set-up now for pheasant and with the weather starting to break I'll be building a few more, My large duck averiy is build all I have to do is cover it with wire or netting . My turkeys pen is about 30 ' x 20 ' which I have a pair of red bourbons and 4 Royal palms 3 hens and one tom


When would be a good time or should I say when do you start hatching and sexy ur birds and when would be a good time to head up ur way , as we have to talk about what you would charge per pair or trio .If you have a price list I would appreciated it if you could send me one .

Hi Alan,
You can stop by anytime,I am laid off still with no sign of work yet.As for sexing the birds that doesn't happen until fall when I can be possitive of what sex they are.And with the silvers and eared pheasant it may take even longer.

Sounds great Tony as I'm retired and on disability as of now I’ve been a bit busy w/ my rental as my daughter move out of one apartment and I just finishing up another one which has been empty for almost a yr.
