I have lost two pullets in less than two weeks. I think I have a hawk problem. I was letting them out of the run every morning and they don't go very far. And they return to coup every evening. I have been running a game cam since I have had them and haven't gotten any predators on cam. I only found a few feathers from the first one and nothing from the second one. Any ideas?

I caught the hawk checking out my flock on my game cam.

Hawks are jerks. How old are your pullets?

I've had a hawk checking out my flock. Poor girls have been on lockdown cause of it. Hope the danged thing moves on soon....

3 to 4 month old pullets I think would be pretty big for a hawk to carry off(but not impossible). Move the camera around the yard(every few days) to get different angles of your coop/run. This can make a big difference. We didn't know this guy was around until we moved the camera to the back of the coop. Sorry for you loss.
