I hatched out about 80 chicks out of 100 eggs that went into lockdown, last week, all shipped eggs, but I am slowly loosing them and not sure why. I don't think I had everything set quite right during incubation, but I am still loosing some almost a week later. But it does seem to be chicks out of a couple of batchs of eggs, but not out of some of the others (hopefully, knock on wood). I haven't had a lot of issues with pasty butt, feeding grit, and ACV along with a good quality feed. Lost one or 2 out of the first hatch, but not this many and using the same process.

I had them under heat lamps last week, but that was way to hot, they were trying to get as far way from that light as possible. So they are under 100W incandescents, but they are working the entire bottom of the box, not just were the light is. They look comfortable, not all huddled up under or away from the lamp. Could it be a nutrition issue of Mom, at this point?
