Loosing Feathers

When I chicken molts, will it loose all of it's feathers at once. Or will it loose them slowly as new feathers grow in? Will the chicken go bald for a little while?

It depends upon the individual bird. Some will 'blow' all of their feathers at one time and run around nearly naked with porcupine like quills. Others drop a few feathers at a time and molt over a prolonged period.
