My chickens are about 11 weeks now and I have been noticing alot of feathers in the coop lately. I didn't think much of it at first but now some appear to have areas on their bodies that are missing feathers. They aren't bald or anything really drastic but They are missing feathers where I new they had feathers before. For example my cuckoo maran had suspiciously long tail feathers that I had been watching (to see if it is a rooster) and today half of them are gone. Do they go through like a mini molt or shed feathers around this age or should I be worried?
