losing chicks

my baby chicks are a week old today and i lost 2 yesterday they would just stand their it kind looked like they were swaying they eould eat or drink and now i have a 3rd chick doing that what do i do i dont want to lose any more chicks

Several things to check...

Temperature---if it is too hot--the heat lamp will literally cook your chicks--One way to tell is if they are as far away from the lamp as possible --or do they have enough room to get out of the heat?

Do they have accumulated waste on their rear vents? If so they could have pasty bottoms and the waste hardens and prevents them from eliminating and they die.

Try these two first and note any other symptoms you may have...

Are you using CEDAR shavings ? Put a thermometer at the BOTTOM of the brooder directly on the floor. See what the temp is there. If it is above 100 degrees you could be cooking the buggers.
