losing eggs n bator

last year I had no trouble with eggs n the bator hatching. this year I have already had 15 eggs go bad. when they are about do to hatch I do the float test and the sink (bad). bought a new thermometer to make sure the temp is
right any ideas what I am doing wrong? last year I got the biggest thrill of seeing the peeps hatch and spoiling
them.

I don't encourage the float test before lock down. I'd say it's better to wait until around day 23 to do the float test. What kind of incubator do you have?
