Losing feathers at almost 14 weeks

I have 14, 14 week old baby chicks and I'm noticing a lot of feathers in the coop.They do not look bald but I see quite a bit of feathers in the coop. does anybody know Why?

Baby chicks go through a number of partial molts as they grow, one is usually around 12-16 weeks, would guess yours are in the middle of that one ... nice article on molting in general http://www.thepoultrysite.com/articles/217/moulting-a-natural-process/
